Sue Gardens is a private garden venue on River Drive, off Thika Road, on the Garden Estate side of Nairobi. It grew out of the home garden of its owner, Susan Ogeno, who has turned the half-acre plot into a green, terraced retreat that she now hires out for celebrations and photo sessions. Mature trees around the boundary screen the lawn from passers-by.

The grounds step down over several levels of lawn and planted terraces, with a small river at the back of the garden and a gazebo among red-flowering plants. The planting takes in palms, bougainvillaea, cypress, birds of paradise, banana, avocado and orange trees. A 2024 newspaper feature on the garden describes three separate outdoor spots that are rented out for events and shoots. No guest capacities are published, so ask the venue how many people each spot takes.

On its Instagram account the venue offers the garden for private parties, birthdays, baby showers, weddings, team building and graduation celebrations. It also promotes the grounds as a backdrop for professional photo sessions, with seasonal posts as the garden comes into flower.

The venue's posts mention its own chefs serving food at events. Prices aren't published. Bookings and enquiries are taken by phone or WhatsApp on the number in its Instagram profile, or by direct message there; its Google listing gives opening hours of 7am to 8pm.
