Natare Gardens is a secluded, carefully kept private garden in the Karen and Kerarapon area, on the south-western edge of Nairobi, about five kilometres from Karen Shopping Centre. It lies along Kerarapon Drive at the foot of the Ngong Hills, which rise behind the lawns and give the venue its main view.

The grounds are landscaped with a waterfall, a pond, a fountain and swimming pools, and there are several colourful gardens as well as a pavilion and a pagoda. The venue says it can seat up to 800 guests restaurant-style for a wedding reception, with the event held in any of the gardens or under the pavilion or pagoda. It doesn't publish a standing figure or capacities for its individual spaces.

Weddings are a major part of its business, but it also markets itself to companies for team building, networking and meetings away from the office, and says it has conferencing facilities on site. Families use it for get-togethers, thanksgiving parties and birthday parties, and it serves as a meeting point for groups hiking the Ngong Hills. Picnics for larger groups can be booked in advance.

Staff can help plan an event, and the kitchen can design a menu for the occasion; food for groups of more than 20 must be ordered in advance. Tents, PA systems and children's play equipment such as bouncing castles can be arranged on request, and for weddings the venue can also put couples in touch with suppliers it uses for décor, furniture and catering. There is ample parking, and security is provided on the grounds. Prices for venue hire aren't published, so quotes come by phone or email. Because the gardens also open to day visitors, the venue advises calling ahead to check whether it has been booked for a private function.
