Glee Nairobi is a five-star hotel with 211 rooms and suites on the Northern Bypass in Runda, about 3 kilometres from the United Nations office in Nairobi and a short drive from Village Market. It sits on eight acres of landscaped grounds with a grove of mature trees, and it is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' L.V.X. collection. The hotel is around 10 kilometres from both the CBD and Westlands, and 28 kilometres from JKIA.
It has nine pillarless indoor event rooms. The largest, the Amethyst Ballroom, covers about 531 square metres and takes up to 700 people theatre-style, 350 at banquet tables or 500 for a cocktail reception; it can be split into three smaller rooms. The Amber Meeting Room holds 200 theatre-style or 140 for a banquet, and a run of smaller rooms and two boardrooms suit meetings of 14 to 85 people. Outdoors, Magnolia Gardens is a landscaped garden with water fountains, overlooked by a skywalk through the tree canopy, which the hotel lists for 1,000 guests at banquet tables and over 2,000 in total.
The hotel markets its spaces for weddings, conferences, corporate functions, social gatherings and large events, and works with outside suppliers on bespoke weddings. The indoor rooms come with audiovisual equipment, high-speed internet, air conditioning, soundproofing, lighting and an event coordinator.
There are six restaurants and bars, including the all-day Glow restaurant with buffets, The Hide grill with a 12-seat private dining room, the Cascade café in the atrium, Peacock for Indian and Pan-Asian food, and the Horizon rooftop bar, plus the Ruby nightclub with private lounges for celebrations. Guests also have a heated pool with a pool bar, a spa, a gym and recreation rooms for adults, teenagers and children. Parking is free, Wi-Fi is provided, and the hotel offers airport transfers, so guests and wedding parties can stay on site.
