Fuchsia Gardens @ Eldo Farm

Fuchsia Gardens is a wedding garden at Eldo Farm on Riara Ridge in Limuru, north-west of Nairobi. The venue describes 12 acres of landscaped gardens, with tree canopies, clipped hedges and flower beds, and its largest lawn looks out towards the Limuru tea fields.

Events are split between two garden spaces. The Intimate Garden, framed by fuchsia planting, trees and a swimming pool, is offered for ceremonies and smaller receptions of up to 300 guests. The Grand Garden joins three gardens into one main lawn and is offered for weddings of up to 1,000 guests. The property also has a guest house with six rooms and 12 beds, an on-site catering kitchen and a powder room that can be hired for the day.

Weddings are the focus, from garden ceremonies to receptions, along with engagement parties and traditional ceremonies. Couples can book a garden tour with a coordinator before deciding, and the venue's website shows a calendar of dates that are already booked.

Garden tours run Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm, with Sunday tours by appointment and private evening tours on request. Enquiries go to the venue's phone line, which also takes WhatsApp messages, by email, or through the enquiry form on its website.

Garden fee for a full day in the Intimate Garden (up to 300 guests); the Grand Garden (up to 1,000) is KES 180,000. Both add a KES 50,000 refundable security deposit and KES 8,000 for three Administration Police officers. Optional powder room KES 20,000 per event; main house accommodation KES 50,000 a night.
