About this space

Eden Spot Garden, which also trades as Eden Spot Garden & Retreat, is an eco-themed outdoor events garden in Ruiru, Kiambu County, set between Kwa Kairo and Kimbo just off the Thika Superhighway. The venue gives its address as Ruiru Kimbo, behind Vishnu Industrial Park, which puts it within easy reach of Nairobi's northern suburbs and of Thika along the same highway.

The grounds combine manicured lawns, stone pathways, flower-lined walks and green enclosures, with outdoor ceremony spaces, covered reception areas and quieter garden corners that the venue says suit both intimate and larger celebrations. A swimming pool and a children's play area with swings and slides sit within the property. The venue does not publish guest capacities for any of its spaces, so planners should confirm numbers and layouts when they enquire.

Eden Spot markets itself for weddings, both ceremonies and receptions, and for graduation parties, baby showers, and birthdays ranging from children's parties to milestone celebrations. Companies use it for team-building days, outdoor workshops and corporate retreats, and the garden can also be hired for photo and video shoots, including wedding, engagement and graduation photography.

According to the venue, hire covers the garden space, a basic setup, tables and chairs, and use of the pool and children's area. Catering is available on site with custom menus and options for dietary needs, and the venue also runs an outside catering service. On-site coordination, decorations for some events and a lifeguard at the pool are among the services it lists, and it says there is ample parking. Bookings are taken by phone, by email or through the enquiry form on its website. The venue advises booking three to six months ahead for weddings and large events, and one to two months ahead for smaller gatherings.
