About this space

Chaka Ranch is a leisure park, conference centre and resort at Kiganjo in Nyeri County, set on open ground between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Range. It is about two and a half hours' drive north of Nairobi, close to the Nyeri–Naro Moru road, at an altitude of just under 2,000 metres. The ranch is open every day, including public holidays, and combines outdoor activities, a restaurant and bar, a swimming pool and overnight accommodation, which includes rooms and a tented camp.

For meetings, the ranch offers conference rooms and breakout rooms with high-speed Wi-Fi and smart TVs, and team-building operators that run programmes there also mention projectors and other audiovisual equipment. The ranch doesn't publish room sizes or seating capacities, so groups should confirm numbers and layouts when they book. Conference packages are priced per person for a half or full day, and residential full-board packages are available for single or shared rooms.

The ranch is best known for activity-based corporate events and team building. Its grounds hold what it describes as Kenya's largest collection of quad bikes and buggies, along with go-karts, a water park and slide, paintball, an arena, roller skating, mini golf, archery and children's rides. That makes it suited to company retreats, staff away-days, family days, and conferences that mix sessions with outdoor activities.

Food is served at the on-site restaurant, which serves local dishes and barbecues, and there is a pub upstairs overlooking the grounds. Accommodation includes breakfast, and check-in is from 2pm.
