Bethany Gardens

Bethany Gardens is a private garden venue in Karen, on Muteero Rise off Kerarapon Road, just past Muteero Church, towards the south-western edge of Nairobi. It offers a landscaped outdoor space for hire and handles bookings through its own website, where Saturday dates can be reserved and paid for online.

The venue is a single garden rather than a set of halls or rooms. It doesn't publish a guest capacity or a site plan, so organisers should ask for numbers and the shape of the lawn before planning tents and seating. Because the hire covers the grounds, tents, furniture and equipment are brought in for each event, and the venue's terms require everything to be cleared away and the site cleaned on the evening of the event. Setting up the day before can be requested but isn't guaranteed.

Bethany Gardens names family gatherings, weddings, bridal parties, birthdays and baby showers among the occasions it hosts, and Kenyan press coverage in 2021 reported a TV presenter's wedding held there. Saturday is its regular event day; other days of the week can be requested by phone or email.

The published price for a Saturday is KES 80,000 for use of the garden during the day, paid as a KES 30,000 deposit when reserving online and a KES 50,000 balance due 30 days before the event. The venue sets out a staged cancellation policy, with full refunds for cancellations made more than 90 days ahead, falling to half within 30 days of the date, and part of the deposit is kept if the balance is paid late.
