Pitmaster’s Cookout Returns for Its 9th Edition: A Grill & Paint Summer Bash Like No Other!

22nd August 2025 | Nairobi, Kenya – The countdown is on for the 9th Edition of Pitmaster’s Cookout, the city’s most anticipated barbecue festival, set for Sunday, 31st August 2025 at The Arena ASK Showgrounds, Jamhuri. Hosted by the legendary Pitmaster Sam in collaboration with Street Anthem BBQ, this year’s edition promises to deliver the ultimate summer bash — an unforgettable fusion of food, fun, and creativity.

Known as the mecca of barbecue in Nairobi, Pitmaster’s Cookout is a celebration of fire, flavor, and community. Guests will indulge in an all-you-can-eat BBQ spread featuring smoked brisket, dino ribs, juicy chicken, mshikaki, sausages, goat chops, pork, and more. To balance the flavors, classic sides like mac & cheese, baked beans, naan bread, and coleslaw will be served, with Pitmaster Sam’s famous roasted pineapples as the perfect sweet finish.

But it’s not just about the food — this year, the event introduces a Grill & Paint experience, offering attendees the chance to unleash their inner artist while enjoying smoky platters. The event is BYOD (Bring Your Own Drinks), making it easy for guests to pair their favorite beverages with the rich flavors of slow-cooked barbecue. And with a kids-friendly atmosphere, the cookout is designed for everyone to enjoy, from families to corporate groups looking for a unique day out.
