3rd Edition of the Birth and Beyond Charity Run – Empowering Teenage Mothers Through Community Action

Nairobi, Kenya — June 5, 2025 — In the early morning hours of June 7th, the community will gather along Magadi Road, Nairobi for a cause that moves hearts and changes lives. The Birth and Beyond Charity Run returns for its 3rd Edition, beginning at 3:30 AM, with a powerful mission: to empower teenage mothers through education, counseling, and vocational training.

Organized by Birth and Beyond, a grassroots initiative that has already impacted over 2,000 adolescent girls and young mothers across Kenya, this year’s run continues the momentum under the theme #RunForSkills. More than just a fitness event, the Charity Run brings people together in solidarity for a generation of young women striving to reclaim their futures.

Participants can choose between 10KM and 5KM races, with options to register as individuals, families, or corporate teams. Whether you’re running, walking, cheering, or showcasing your brand, your involvement contributes to vital programs in mentorship, counseling, and income-generating skills training for young mothers in vulnerable situations.
