Lovebirds Announces the 2nd Edition International Dog Day Celebration at Nairobi Club

20th August 2025 | Nairobi, Kenya – Lovebirds, through its flagship Lovedogs Program, is proud to present the 2nd Edition of the International Dog Day Celebrations, themed “Fashion Show With Your Fur-Friend”, on Saturday, 23rd August 2025 at Nairobi Club.

Building on the resounding success of the inaugural 2024 edition in Karen, this year’s celebration promises to be even bigger, bolder, and more impactful. The event is designed to honor the timeless bond between humans and dogs, while also advancing welfare initiatives that promote a better quality of life for man’s best friend.

Across three exciting stages, audiences will witness dog champions showcasing creativity, resilience, and style as they strut down the runway in sustainable and innovative pet fashion. The event will spotlight the uniqueness of diverse dog breeds while emphasizing that dogs—like humans—have emotions, personalities, and deserve to be celebrated.

But the celebration goes beyond the runway. With a focus on education, community sensitization, charity, and sustainability, the International Dog Day event aims to inspire meaningful transformation that uplifts both dogs and their human families. From interactive exhibitions to expert talks and community-driven initiatives, attendees will leave with renewed appreciation for the vital role dogs play in society.
