This thought-provoking play will premiere from Friday, May 16, to Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Daystar University Auditorium, Valley Road, Nairobi.
Audiences are invited to step into the imaginative realm of the pre-afterlife, where seven notorious women from the Bible gather for a one-of-a-kind celestial reality show titled “Bad Girls: Whatcha Gonna Do, For Real?” This brilliant theatrical concept allows each of these infamous figures to share their untold side of the story, challenging perception and inviting empathy, humor, and introspection.
Meet the unforgettable cast of characters: Jezebel, Mrs. Potiphar, Delilah, Mrs. Lot, Rahab, Sapphira, and The Woman at the Well. Each of these women is brought to life by a stellar ensemble, including Mwajuma Belle, Ivy Esther, Mugambi Ikiara, Kerri Kagiri, Justin Karunguru, Lucy Kwe, Wakio Mzenge, Joyce Musoke, Nkatha Nkirote, and Lucy Wache. Directed by Julisa Rowe and written by Yafesi Musoke, this bold reimagination will captivate audiences with its rich storytelling, wit, and spiritual depth.
