The highly anticipated “Big Six Roundtable” took place on Saturday, 5th April, at C.U Jain Bhavan, and it had a proper vibe. Kenya’s comedy and content creation heavyweights—Abel Mutua, Philip Karanja, Eddie Butita, Judy Nyawira, Celestine Ndinda, and our very own Njugush—brought the house down with their hilarious banter and real-life stories.
These big boys and girls of Kenyan entertainment didn’t come to play but to slay! The event was super packed with creative minds, social media enthusiasts, and regular Kenyans who love entertainment and good old-fashioned laughs.

Who’s Who in Nairobi Showed Up
The event was basically a mini red carpet for Nairobi’s entertainment scene. Everywhere you turned, there was a familiar face from your Instagram feed or TikTok FYP. Additionally, there were several personalities, influencers with those blue ticks, and even some big names who clearly didn’t want to miss out on the action.

People didn’t just show up – they showed OUT! The fashion game was on another level completely! Everyone came dressed to kill, looking super sharp and Instagram-ready. Furthermore, the creativity in some of the outfits was just crazy – clearly, fans wanted to impress their favorite content creators with their own creative expression!
Grand Entrances
The way these six creators made their entrances? It was like watching celebrities at the Grammy Awards, but with that special Kenyan flavor! Judy kicked things off, keeping it super classy but still fun, gliding onto the stage. Then Wakavinye busted some fun little dance moves all the way to her seat, showing us why she’s a whole vibe.
Our beloved Mkurugenzi was on another level, interactive and hyped to the music. Plus, when he finally reached the stage, he treated everyone to some hilarious dance moves that had people holding their stomachs from laughing too hard. Furthermore, Phil Director brought the house down with his creative entrance – a perfect nod to Ashton Hall’s trending morning routine that everyone and their mother has been talking about.
Butita also knows how to make an entrance! He came with a whole entourage of beautiful women who were ‘helping’ him achieve his final look right there on stage – fixing his jacket, putting on his watch- the works.
And saving the best for last, Njugush broke all the rules! This guy surprised everyone by coming from the back of the venue. Njugush walked in like it was a political rally, complete with exaggerated greetings to the attendants. The audience interaction was off the charts; it took the longest, but nobody was complaining!
Convos Hot Hot!
The thought-provoking conversations these guys were having were as promised. From marriage to finances, nothing was off the table. It was a welcome mix of entertainment and learning. The amount of laughter in that room could have powered the national grid for days!
Every few minutes, there was another eruption of giggles, chuckles, and full-on belly laughs. Plus, the creators laughed at each other’s jokes just as hard as the audience, creating this contagious vibe of genuine fun that you rarely find.
Also, there were interactive segments where audience members got to participate in challenges and conversations alongside their favorite creators. Some lucky fans even got called on stage for special moments that will probably be their profile pictures for years to come!

Just when everyone thought the event was wrapping up, guess who strolled onto the stage? Bensoul himself! The crowd went absolutely ballistic as he performed an acoustic set of his biggest hits. His surprise appearance turned what was already an amazing event into a legendary one that people will be talking about for months to come!

The Big Six proved why they’re at the top of Kenya’s content creation game, delivering value, entertainment, and inspiration in equal measure.
